Who Am I?

Hey! My name is Yago Azedias. I’m a Senior Software Engineer at Nubank in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Previously I spent 5+ years at Grupo OLX — Latin America’s largest classifieds platform — where I worked across payments, FinOps, Server-Driven UI, and automotive financing.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2017-2023).

What I work with

Throughout my career I’ve worked with a wide range of technologies including Python, Golang, Kotlin, Clojure, Node.js, React, Flutter, and AWS. I’m passionate about software architecture, distributed systems, event-driven design, and functional programming.

Highlights

• Led FinOps initiatives at OLX saving hundreds of thousands of dollars annually in cloud spend
• Built and maintained a Server-Driven UI platform (Kotlin, Node.js, AWS DocumentDB)
• Led Pix payment integration and built scalable event-driven systems at OLX Payments
• Integrated digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay) at Nubank with Mastercard Token Connect
• Built React Native apps and Kubernetes-based infrastructure at Bemobi
